Costuming Advice

    • When you get a new outfit or adjust an existing one, always dance with it       before you use it in a show. It needs to fit comfortably when you move and    any problems with this should be rectified.
    • ALWAYS use safety pins to pin your skirt to your belt and your bra          together – this is over and above your hooks and clasps that you have on     your outfit.
    • Do not use Velcro – it is not as stay safe as you might think
    • When adjusting your bra either cross the straps at the back or make it into   a halter neck. There is nothing worse than straps slipping off your                   shoulders at an inappropriate time.
    • Sew elastic (2.5cm non curl) to the inside of your tie-belt (coin-belt). This   will keep it from slipping down your waist as well as insure a snug and better fit.
